This is a variation of Probable Proverbs that involves rephrasing the lyrics to a well known song using as much alliteration with the same letter as possible. Bonus points if the meter works, too, so that one could actually sing the new version, and extra bonus if the rhyme scheme is maintained. Is it possible to get all the way through something like "Stairway to Heaven"? or even "American Pie"? Get out those Thesauri!
I can imagine categories for other types of things besides song lyrics. Nursery rhymes, famous poems, speeches (e.g. Gettysburg address?), Extended lines from books or movies ("This here is a 44 magnum, the largest, etc...you've got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky? Well...Do ya PUNK?" -- how many ways could that be done with alliteration?)

Sapphire Saturday--Penn JohnsonSpans past cause no sorrow, sans survival The strech where the sol shines To the set of the sun, No soul knows Her salidas and entrances [Refrain] Sayonara Sapphire Saturday, No shickers of status on this solitary You shape to suit each supplementary day Still I shall yearn for thee. Don't seek as to why she fancies She'll say it's the solo style to survive. She shant be shackled To a span of life lacking citation Sans loss of a substance Still I shall yearn for thee. [Refrain] So long, Sapphire Saturday No stickers of status on this solitary You shape to suit each supplementary day I'm turning my thoughts toward thee. "There's no season to squander," she says. Spend your dreams fore they slip away. Surrender your dreams Surrender your dreams And with your sanity. So severe a state. [Refrain] Czia, Sapphire Saturday, No stickers of stauts on this solitary. Topaz Tuesday--William FlisTime tends to turn all tidings trivial. From the tepid Tappan Zee To the torrid Tasman Sea, Who tabulates The treks she takes? (or From the temples of Turkey To the top of Tennessee, To the tundra of Thule,) [Refrain] Ta-ta, Topaz Tuesday, Think they'd tack a tag to you? As you twist so tortuously. I'll tenderly think of you. Take her not to task for transiency. She'll tell you that's the total type to be. (or She'll tell you trucking is her tasse of tea.) She'd never tolerate A torpid, tedious state Of temperate acts At a terrible tax. [Refrain] Toodl'-oo, Topaz Tuesday, Titles ain't the thing for thee, As thou twitch so tirelessly. I'm turning my thoughts toward thee. "Take no time to tarry," that's her tip. Trust your turn-ons ere they take a trip. Terminal all through, Trash your thoughts, and you'll Be trebly touched. Think times are tough? (or Be turned to tears. Tempestuous years!) [Refrain] Take care, Topaz Tuesday, Who'd try tying traits to you? Tomorrow takes you far from today. I truly thirst to touch you. |

Sapphire Sunday--William FlisStories cease to signify in some short while. As the sun still shines Or stars sparkle in the skies, Who sees she ain't A sinner or saint? [Refrain] So long, Sapphire Sunday, Who should stoop to stigmatizing? Since you seldom the same self stay. Still I'm sympathizing. Cease seeking sense in why she strives for slack. She'll say solitude's a state she stands to hack. She spurns a spouse's station, Scorns a steady situation In silken shack- -les, at stakes so stacked. [Refrain] See you, Sapphire Sunday, Who should stamp a sign on you? Stability sure ain't your strong suit, It's safe to say I'll seek you. "Speed is of the essence," she'll sometimes say. Shape up your psychic ship ere she sails away. Stop your spirit's slink, Set your soul in synch, Or see a shrink. Psychoses stink! [Refrain] So long, Sapphire Sunday, Such soubriquets ain't satisfying, Seeing as you're so unsteady. Since you scrammed, I'm sighing. [Refrain] So long, Sapphire Sunday, Salut, Sapphire Samedi! Shalom, Sapphire Shabbat! [sing again sounding softer and softer] |

Fuchsia Friday--William FlisFormer feud's forgotten when foregone. From the first forenoon To final fading of the moon, Few follow Her flag and flow. [Refrain] Farewell, Fuchsia Friday, Few could fix a face on you, For you flit with each fresh folly. I find I can't forsake you. Find no fault she's fond of flying free. She'll affirm that free's the finest frame to be. She fears to be fixated In a fortune that is fated For futility At a frightful fee. [Refrain] Farewell, Fuchsia Friday, Family and friends are few, For you fall in phase with fashion. I frankly can't forget you. "Faster, farther, foremost," her favorite phrase. Flesh your fancies out 'fore they're faraways. Fading forevermore, Follow your fantasies or Feel fanatical. Find fate fickle? |

Moonstone Monday--William FlisMoments don't mean much, remembering. From morning's majesty To the moon's mad mystery, Most mistake Her misses and makes. [Refrain] My, my, Moonstone Monday, Most monikers might miss on you,, Motley is your modus operandi. I mean I'll mostly miss you. "Don't mind much my mercuriality. My motto: On the move's the mode for me. I must not be the mate Of a man who'd emulate Mediocrity, For mere money. [Refrain] My, my, Moonstone Monday, Most monikers misreckon you, Meshugana your methods may stay. Ma'am, I'll madly miss you. "Mustn't miss a moment," she mostly mouths. Materialize your motives or they'll move out. Mortal monotonously, Mislay your myths and be Mad mentally. Oh, mercy me! |
