I have just about every electrical schematic diagram for every BMW motorcycle, even the C-1 'scooter', and for electrical accessories, for those made between late 1969 (when the /5 came out) and early 2006.  Some of these are e-mailable, but are large files in general...please don't ask unless you have a REAL need, as I am on dialup service!!

I have a .pdf of this corrected schematic available if you need it in that format; it is not on this website, however, as my publishing program does not support pdf.  I can E-mail it, however.  About 550Kb.

Below R90S schematic is in large format.  Larry Simko provided me the original artwork for this sketch, below, for which I thank him, and I have left his name at the bottom.  This is in .gif format.    It should be expanded in your computers imaging program as needed in order to see the fine details.  Note that this schematic has the corrected instrument cluster wiring diagram (some old BMW literature is wrong); and, that sometime in 1976, the wiring changed again, in some minor areas. 10/22/2007:   Clean up page somewhat, change notations slightly.
