MEETINGS

They went smoothly.  I thought they were good.  The location
could not have been better.  :)

LEADERS

Only the best of course.  Fun people to be around.  We got great amusement from them.  They climb trees, fall in lakes, have hair that sticks up in most unusual ways, tell really bad jokes, and have intellectual discussions about the oddest things.

EQUIPMENT

I liked the new billy kits.  The Bug sun stuff seemed to work fairly well to keep the bugs away.  It was hard to get out of the container though.  All other stuff was good in my opinion.

ROUTE FOOD

Boy, the people who set up and packaged all the food sure did a good job! They deserve a pan full of brownies for their superb effort! The quantities were just about perfect too.  I just can't say enough good stuff about the way the food was put together.  Beef stroganoff has got to go.  Yuuuuuucky.  (ea.  Note: compare the author of this report to the assignments on page 2)

PREP HIKES

Perfectly wonderful in every way.  I particularly liked the Wunderlich hike.  The were all beautiful and it's fun to taunt the other scouts with thoughts of root beer floats.

SPL

She did a good job.  No problems there.

ASPL

Boy what a flake!! (Hee tree sister bashing time) First she comes late to all the meetings because of her ballet classes and then she decides to not go on the outing.  Some people....  On a good note she makes excellent bracelets.

PATROLS

I liked our patrols and thought they worked well together.  I also liked how we were not split in patrols in anything but cooking.  We knit very well together and that made me happy.

PACK INSPECTION

Got two bug bites for preparation of the hike.  I felt they were unnecessary.  Please leave the bugs out in the future.  Other than that everything went smoothly.

HIKE

I was sad that we did not get to do the route as planned.  I really wanted to do Blackcap mountain.  Still it was very nice.  Nothing was too hard at all.

HIGHLIGHTS

The sunsets, and the togetherness of everyone on the outing.  Heber looking sheepish after falling in the creek for something like the third time.  I also liked the brownies and candle they were a nice surprise for my 18th.

IMPROVEMENTS

Mr.  Slusser should learn to be careful of what he wishes for, because it might come true.  (ea.  Note: Refers to a wish for a good thunder storm on the trip - not 4 days of rain.)
