There are two pages here devoted to the Japan tour exclusivly because Dale brought his camera along. The lads don't usually have a camera with them except for this trip to Japan, wich was more like a working holiday adventure than the usual gigs they do. Some of the snaps included here were taken by friends in Japan who sent them to us later. There are pictures of "Jody's Heaven" doing other things, (some of these photos you wouldn't want to see.) And as they accumulate, (and if they pass the censor,) they will be posted on an additional page... stay tuned.

This is "Jody's Heaven" on stage in Tokyo. There was always at least 15 to 30 people working on sound and lighting and such. Not to mention beautiful women stuffing us full of Japanese delectables in the Green Room. (Dale even received some last minute accupressure.)
One of the nicest gigs was in Gifu. The theater sat about 400 people and was designed especially for accoustic music.
After every performance there was a party for everybody in the crew that allways included a great feast.
Dale seems perfectly comfortable with no chair to sit in. He looks like he's contemplating removing all those pesky chairs when he gets back home to Seattle.
And of course Junji is very happy to be in a land where miso soup and rice are as easy to get as a "Big Mac."
Here's a picture Dale took of some of the delectables that were always waiting for them in the Green Rooms. Their hosts were very generous wherever we went.
Of course Jack had no problem finding something to satisfy his apetite along the way. Outside of the temple grounds there was always concession stands that made it seem like a street fair of sorts.
This is a shot of Dale playing in a "seisiun" without any chairs. In Nagoya they met lots of fine players that included Mayumi Nagaura (on melodian) who told them she had traveled to Ireland 7 years in a row to take part in the "Willy Clancy Irish Music School" in Milltown Malbay. She now has a group in Japan called "The Rising Pints."
This is another shot of the same "seisiun" as above without chairs, (or shoes for that matter). Of course Jack utilized the edge of the stage as best he could. It's hard to play the concertina sitting on the floor.
