Stanchions make or break a Diesel model. Our stanchions are individual, specific types, all invesment-cast in brass of course. A kit includes 45 stanchion castings, three pages of notes, instuctions, drawings and bending templates plus several lengths of .016" straight brass wire. Despite rising costs, price of the kit remains at $14.95 + shipping.

Precision Investment Associates, Inc., was formed in the Spring of 1977 by Pacific Fast Mail of Edmonds, Washington. The goal was to develop and promote a line of highly detailed, quality HO/HOn3 brass investment castings for use by model railroaders, as well as for use on PFM model programs.

Since that time, the HO scale line has expanded to over 200 individual part numbers. Included are parts, groups of parts and kits. The kits include trucks for steam and Diesel locomotives, pilot assemblies, as well as narrow gauge trucks.

For now, we have a few sheets listing the available parts, a reverse index and an order blank. Cost: a stamped, self-addressed envelope. We do have a numerical list on this site, click here, but this is just a start and more is coming.
