Hey! Not just anyone can contribute to Al Dante, you know. We got rules and structure here. A little variation is allowable, I suppose, but I don't want Al Dante getting too far afield from the parent structure of the Divine Comedy.
Sure, free verse has its place (see the Inferno section of the tercet triplet entitled Poetic Structure), but since Al Dante is written with a particular metre (iambic pentameter) and rhyme scheme (aba-bcb-cdc), you have to demonstrate your abilities.
Thus, the following:
If you would add your own Al Dante set,
