NOTE:   We will sell, barter, or trade

Background:
Fleischer Electronics Service was established in Los Angeles in the 1950's and moved to South Lake Tahoe, California, in 1973, where it remains to this day.     Fleischer's has specialized in Audio, HiFi, Stereo, musician's electronics, and industrial electronics.   In the early years at Lake Tahoe, Fleischer's also did TV servicing.
Presently, Fleischer's specializes in musician's electronics; and the owner, Robert (Bob) Fleischer has reduced the business to just himself, and is slowly selling off parts, manuals, etc.   Why??....well, he (that's ME!) is 70 years old and I want to retire!!

WHAT is NOT...or in limited amounts, being sold:
ALL the car stereo repair items, except for some old complete units, and some service literature, has already been sold.
Already disposed of is most, but not all, of the phonograph and turntable parts.  Some arm parts, some cartridges, needles, belts, idlers, etc., remain for sale.   Only a limited amount of test equipment is being offered for sale at this time.   As the business is purposely shrunk over time, I will offer more and more test equipment.   Test equipment offered NOW, is listed later on in this page.

What IS being sold...or trade for, barter, etc.....MAKE OFFERS AND INQUIRIES!!:::
LARGE numbers of vacuum tubes (mostly New Old Stock, but MANY modern types too).
Every sort of common electronics parts, such as transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits.
ALSO:   Factory Service Manuals of all sorts.   The vast majority are NOT copies, but originals.  Some available on microfiche, but most are paper-type manuals.   Also a collection of early H.W. Sams Photofacts.
Just about every manufacturer is covered by our manuals collection.

There are many thousands of items.  PLEASE inquire as to YOUR needs.   Small lots, even individual pieces, are available, as are bulk amounts....simply ask!

I really WILL consider all offers!  Even for small lots, even single items!

Test equipment available at THIS time:

Engine Analyzer.  This is a Sears Craftsman Engine Analyzer, that was purchased by a customer of mine, who used it a couple of times, then put it on a high shelf, and forgot it existed, due to his medical problems.  He died recently, and was one of the items left to me, in exchange for a job I did for him that wasn't paid for by the time he passed away.   I have checked it out, and it works perfectly and seems in calibration, with ONE exception...the ohms (resistance) functions.  I did not see anything physically wrong on the circuit board inside, so did not try to fix the ohmmeter section.  I don't have a schematic diagram for the circuitry, probably Sears does....but I do have the extensive manual the Analyzer came with.   The analyzer is complete with all the various plug-in adapter cables and that manual.   The analyzer measures RPM, Dwell, amperes, volts, etc.  There are FOUR test leads.  One is for points, volts, dwell; one is for amperes, and attached is a SHUNT, that is adjustable for high and low amperes, so it will actually be capable of measuring low in-circuit drains, as well as the drain of a starter motor and the output of a generator/alternator!!  One cable is for rpm...it uses a clamp type probe, similar to the ones likely on your timing light.

I also have a compression tester and fuel pressure/vacuum tester, from same guys estate, all of which would make nice additions to your owning this Analyzer.

This analyzer does almost every type of electrical test....and the manual is very detailed.

$50 plus shipping.

NOTE:  I have another of these same Engine Analyzers, in very good condition, make offer.

I also have one of my own electric tachometer checkers, and some other engine instruments for sale...you can also ask about them if interested.

At the lower right side is the wire with the shunt used at batteries for current tests.  Center is the clamp-type rpm probe.  The other two probes are to the left and on top.

10 Mhz, triggered sweep, full size (not a mini-screen) Dual-Trace Oscilloscope, in good operating and calibrated condition.  B & K model 1471B.    This was a spare unit for my electronics repair shop, no longer needed as I am mostly retired now, and have two other scopes.    $200.00 or consider trading for??
