WHO IS HAWG RYDER?

Good
question...who the heck is Hawg Ryder??
I am just a regular biker with a love of Harley Davidson
motorcycles. I have been riding since I was a kid, well over 30
years worth of scooter experience under my belt nowadays. I have
ridden too many miles to count, seeing all the grand sights this
country has too offer. Meeting great people all along the way.
I was brought up in the "old school" world of biker,
believing that if you're going to ride it you should be able to
wrench on it. With one exception, I have never owned a bike that
I did not build or rebuild from the ground up. I get great
satisfaction from working on my bike and others. I believe in
sharing that feeling, encouraging others to experience the joy of
being self-sufficient and comfortable with a wrench in one hand
and a shop manual in the other.
YOU CAN
FIX IT!!
I am NOT a professional wrench,
although I have been wrenching on Harley's all my adult life as a
serious hobby. I love the old bikes, flatties, knucks, pans, and
shovels, but I also appreciate the changes made with the modern
styles. While I am very comfortable inside of any early motor or
tranny, I have limited wrenching experience on anything
post-1984, so I have a lot to learn myself.
In today's modern world, there are people from every imaginable
background
buying and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Quite often, our
individual
differences and experiences get in the way of meaningful
communication.
I have discovered that on the web those personal differences seem
to fade,
giving folks from ALL backgrounds a chance to focus on our
greatest
similar joy, our scooters. And we can freely share our
experiences
and questions, learning from each other. I have noted that some
forums tend
to have a lot of game playing and bullshit going on, so I started
my own. It is
HAWG RYDER'S ALL HD
TECH FORUM
a
place where everyone with a love of Harley is welcome,
be they man, woman, old timer, new rider,
rat bike, stock, or full custom.
No
different than hanging out in my real world garage, a place where
we can
share wrenching experience AND have some laughs with our
friends...it can get a little rude and crude, but we make no
excuses, it's as close to the real world as I live it and I
wouldn't have it any other way.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! No question is too basic or too complex.
We all have something to offer and we all learn from each other.
A forum is only as good as the folks that participate and we are
very fortunate to have a lot of really great people willing to
help us all in this forum.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and WELCOME to my world!!
