Deer Season - Thanksgiving Week 1997

We were the guests of the Newton family, Chuck, Jeri, and Jeremiah. They were gracious and we felt like "family". Jeff Williams, their neighbor and friend,  joined us every day and shared some great experiences ! Everyone involved is a dedicated born again Christian which led to fun and fellowship.

 

 

Jeri gets her deer. Here she is removing the backstrap; all of the deer were hung in Jeff's garage prior to butchering.

I got two deer, a buck and this fine doe. I shipped the frozen meat back to my home in California.
